Process Design

One of the most important aspects of any project is the selection and design of the process. This task takes place at the conceptual stage of the project. With our mechanical & process engineers working from day one on the “black book” and conceptual layouts, we are able to identify problems early on avoiding rework and system modifications that are much more costly later on in the project life.

For plants and systems that require patent type applications, we have several ties with process only companies. We work closely with the engineers to develop cost effective designs for our clients while maintaining tight scheduling. Since many of our engineers are from the process industry, these more complex installations are a known factor minimizing errors that more inexperienced designers make.

We provide the following services for our clients:

  • Establishing the Design Basis
  • Collecting Field Data
  • Review of Technologies
  • Process Comparisons / Evaluations
  • Process Selection
    • License Negotiation
    • Performance Guarantees
  • Process Description
  • Material and Energy Balance
